My 6/6 with trample and deathtouch is blocked by a 5/5. How much damage does the player take?
The player takes 5 and the 5/5 dies.
With deathtouch, any amount of damage you assign to a creature counts as lethal damage. (702.2c)
With trample you only need to assign lethal damage to the blockers, and the rest can go to the player: 1 to the 5/5 and 5 to the player. (702.19b)
The 5/5 is destroyed as a state-based action for being dealt damage by a source with deathtouch. (702.2b)

What you're probably wondering.
What does Pro include?
The AI rules assistant at the Table, the Pro badge on your profile and a basic skins pack. Skins and similar cards will come later, and we'll keep adding Gatewatch's own features.
What is the basic skins pack?
A set of styles for your profile and your Table (avatar frames, boards, effects and dice) that stays active while you're Pro; if you cancel, it's switched off. Later we'll open a shop with single skins and packs: anything you buy there separately is yours forever, whether or not you stay on Pro. It's all optional and cosmetic: it gives no advantage in the game.
Am I paying for Wizards or Magic content?
No. Nothing from Wizards of the Coast is behind a payment: cards, images, rules and rulings are free for everyone. Gatewatch is an unofficial fan project and Pro only unlocks its own features, unrelated to Wizards: the AI assistant and the skins.
When does it launch?
There's no date yet: we're setting up payments and the assistant. Join the waitlist and we'll tell you as soon as it's available.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time from Settings. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. The 7-day trial doesn't commit you to anything either.
What about what's free today?
It stays free. Catalog, decks, collection, Table, rules, rulings, events and trades don't change. Pro only pays for new features, like AI, and optional cosmetic extras.
Is there a minimum age?
You must be 18 or older to subscribe to Pro. Gatewatch accounts are still open from age 14.
What do you do with my waitlist sign-up?
We only use it to tell you when Pro launches and to know how many people are waiting. You can leave the list from this page any time, and it's deleted if you delete your account.
