Frequently asked questions
Is it free?
Yes. The collection, the scanner, value and price history, binders and the wishlist are free with an account. Public binders and profiles can be seen without one.
How do I scan my cards?
With the Gatewatch apps for Android and iOS, coming soon: start a scanning session on your computer, scan the QR code with your phone, and each card lands in your collection. You set the finish, condition and language of each copy.
Can I bring my collection?
Yes, with a CSV: download the template (name, set, quantity, finish, condition and language) and put your cards in those columns. You can also paste a card list into binders and the wishlist.
Where do the prices come from?
From Cardmarket's euro price, with the foil price for foil copies. Every card keeps its history, and the collection shows how its value has moved over the last 30 days.
Who can see my binders?
You choose for each binder: private or public. A public binder shows up on your profile and in Explore, and anyone can flip through it as long as your profile is public. Your collection and its value are not published: only what you put in public binders or mark for trade.
