More than 30 Gatewatch achievements with their own 3D medal: bronze, silver and gold ladders for games, wins, opponents, stores, events, tournament rounds and account age, plus one-off challenges, from knocking out the first player to winning a tournament of 8 or more.

Your store gives out achievements too. And rewards.
Stores create their own achievements and missions. You earn them by playing their events, with the counter QR code or because the staff hand them to you, and some come with a real reward you redeem right there.

Your profile, your rules.

Is it free?
Yes. The feed, profiles, game stats, achievements, missions and store rewards are free with an account.
Do I need an account to see it?
To read the feed, see public profiles and search the player directory, no. To post, follow, earn achievements and see the Games tab of the people you follow, yes: a free account.
Where do my stats come from?
From confirmed games on a connected La Mesa table, where every player is seated with their account. Your tournaments are separate, in their own profile tab.
How do I earn achievements?
Gatewatch's, by playing: La Mesa games, store events, tournament rounds or how long you've had your account. Each store's, at its events, with the counter QR code or because the staff hand them to you.
Can I hide my profile?
Yes. Your profile and your game stats are visible by default, and both can be turned off in Privacy, where you can also keep your achievements out of “Recent achievements”. With a private profile you don't show up in the directory and nobody can visit it.
Are there push notifications?
On the web, notifications arrive inside Gatewatch and by email. Push notifications will come with the Android and iOS apps, which are coming soon.
